Ismael Flores Mira

Nacido al sur de la Ciudad de México en 1991, su interés por el dibujo inició en la infancia y el interés por las artes creció y continuó durante la adolescencia. En 2012 comienza la licenciatura en artes visuales en la Facultad de Artes y Diseño plantel Taxco, en 2015 realiza un intercambio académico con la Universidad Finis Terrae en Santiago de Chile, 2017 realiza un diplomado en narrativa gráfica en la Antigua Academia de San Carlos, a participado en diversas exposiciones colectivas y ha sido parte de la selección del XXXV, XXXVI y XXXVII Encuentro Nacional de “Arte Joven”. Su trabajo lo ha desarrollado en base a tres disciplinas, el dibujo, la pintura y el grabado, como parte de su formación ha estudiado y seguido los caminos de la abstracción mediante planteamientos geométricos y orgánicos, dentro de lo figurativo su obra aborda temas como la arquitectura en ruinas, vestigios y paisajes, representando la fugacidad de las cosas producidas por el hombre y la eternidad del mundo natural. Actualmente vive en Ciudad de México continuando su trabajo artístico.


Born to the south of Mexico City in 1991, his interest in drawing began since
childhood and interest in the arts grew and continued during adolescence. In
2012 he began his degree in visual arts at the Faculty of Arts and Design
campus Taxco (Guerrero, Mexico), in 2015 he made an academic exchange with the Finis Terrae University in Santiago de Chile. Later, in 2017 he completed a diploma in graphic narrative at the Old Academy of San Carlos. Has participated in various group exhibitions and has been part of the selection of XXXV, XXXVI and XXXVII National Meeting of “Young Art”.
His work has been developed based on three disciplines, drawing, painting and printmaking. As part of his training he has studied and followed the paths of abstraction through geometric and organic approaches, within the figurative his work addresses issues such as architecture in ruins, vestiges and landscapes, representing the fugacity of the things produced by man and the eternity of the natural world. Currently lives in Mexico City carrying on his artistic work.
