Artista plástico venezolano formado por Ignacio Iñaki Martínez y su hijo Orlando “Mangan” Martínez. Siendo Mangan el aprendíz de su padre, ambos unen su talento y su habilidad en la pintura y el dibujo, creando una obra fresca, con una paleta Pop y con una inclinación hacia el Cubismo y el arte moderno. La obra nace de la necesidad y el interés de ambos de crear. Mangan creció en una familia de artistas, tanto su padre como sus abuelos han sido exponentes de la pintura. Desde muy pequeño siempre admiró el trabajo de ellos y se vió muy influenciado en particular por el trabajo de su padre. Lejos de presentar una pugna entre dos mentes o dos mundos y ver cuál domina y se impone, ésta unión ha dado como resultado una obra que es superior a la suma de las partes. Podemos afirmar que en cada pieza existe la intervención de los dos, y es difícil distinguir que mente a través de que manos crearon que parte, no solo para el espectador sino también para los artistas, afirmando su concepto de un artista a cuatro manos.
Venezuelan plastic artist born from the united talents of Ignacio Iñaki Martínez and his son Orlando “Mangan” Martínez. Mangan, apprentice of his father, works alongside his coach and together they create fresh work through Pop palette and Cubism and modern art tendencies.
The project comes alive thanks to the necessity of both artists to express their creativity on canvas and other mediums. Mangan was raised amongs artists. Both of his grandfathers were painters and since he can remember, he has had huge admiration for their works. His main inspiration though, has always been his father. Mangan is also a well known artist in the music industry and among his achievements is a Latin Grammy with his rock band Viniloversus, earned in 2012. Iñaki on the other hand, was trained as a civil engineer, but never abandoned his art education. He studied painting for fourteen years with the well-known Venezuelan artist Miguel Renom. Iñaki has been making art for over forty years. Both of them are the four hand artist named IKORMA.
