Artista visual. Ha realizado ilustración infantil para importantes casas editoriales. Y participado en numerosas exhibiciones en México y en el extranjero. Entre otros premios y reconocimientos: Antoniorrobles/IBBY-Mx 1990, Estímulo a la creación como artista con trayectoria Foecah/Conaculta 2009, 1er. lugar 157a Feria de la Flores San Ángel 2014 en la categoría de pintura al óleo, Mención de Honor en 10o Edición del Premio Sociedad Mexicana de Acuarelistas 2017, 3er. lugar 161a Feria de las Flores San Ángel 2018 en la categoría de pintura en acuarela.
La asociación del sí mismo, el espejo y el instante con la vastedad de la naturaleza es el material de mi trabajo artístico. La naturaleza es paradójicamente transitoria, sutil y subjetiva. En ciertos lugares o en instantes: conjetural. Capturar el espíritu de lugar sin ser una representación es una especie de paisaje especular, lugares posibles que no he visto pero que sí podría percibir en sus relaciones espacio-visuales con grados de luminosidad y sombra. El uso de las posibilidades de azul monocromo me permite girar el énfasis entre las propiedades ópticas con la materialidad del color sin la carga connotativa del color relacional.

The association of the self, the mirror and the moment with the vastness of nature is the material of my artistic work. Nature is paradoxically transient, subtle and subjective. In certain places or moments: conjectural. Capturing the spirit of place without being a representation is a kind of specular landscape, possible places that I have not seen but could perceive in their spatial-visual relationships with degrees of luminosity and shadow. The use of the monochrome blue possibilities allows me to turn the emphasis between the optical properties and the materiality of the color without the connotative load of the relational color.
